My name is Alan Robertson and I am an aging boomer. I am a retired Computer Programmer/Systems Analyst, now a winemaker, working as the Cellarmaster at SSCC/Northwest Wine Academy, as well as assisting at Fall Line Winery in Georgetown.
Twenty-five years of sitting at a desk and stress-eating through projects has taken it’s toll. I ran when I was younger, but that is not an option now. I like to bicycle, but walking is my usual exercise. My wife and I try to take at least one walk a day. We have our “stock walk”, which is our predictable walk, but we try to mix it up so that we don’t get bored. Any walk that I can do, you likely can do as well.
